The outpatient surgery centre was created out of a desire to bring all outpatient surgery activities together under one roof in order to provide the population of Geneva with one site for excellent patient-focused care delivered with a high level of quality and innovation.
The result of a genuine partnership between the HUG and Hirslanden Private Hospital Group, it will be the biggest outpatient surgery centre in Switzerland.
Project
Outpatient surgery enables patients to return home on the same day as their operation. This form of care improves comfort and recuperation and also reduces the risks associated with hospitalizations. To meet these challenges, the HUG-Hirslanden outpatient surgery centre will open in 2025.
